Walls, Slides and Germs OH MY!!!

The neighborhood carnival was most exciting! I stepped out of my germ and/or filth-phobia to make my little girl smile and cheer Jaxman on. It happened once..it wasn't bad and it could happen again. But Lagoon isn't happening anytime soon still....

Jax climbed this huge monster wall aut-a-magically!! He was a monkey!!!


This is our friend Takoda ~ she lives across the street...they are always silly and Gracie just loves when she gets to play with them ~


This is where I stepped out of my comfort zone..(you couldn't wear shoes!!!) and played with my daughter. She loved it though, so it was very well worth it when she gave me squeezes all the while giggling and smiling.


I love them..they love me no matter who's dirty or clean!!!

Birthday Lovin'...

We left for our "3 night 4 day" Birthday Extravaganza on the 16th flight 1200 for Viva Las Vegas.. secretly I was scared of leaving our babies for the first time but at the same time relieved that your "17 days of Chris" mission was over and out.. Glad you liked it though!! It was so fun to see you excited every morning...wondering what the day's gift and card would be.

We wandered the streets..sang with the Beach Boy hopeful..both of us deciding that "if only" American Idol originated 30 years ago, he could have been somebody!! You totally bargained down for a killer fedora hat, that you look smokin' hot in...we soaked in the rays and quoted every line from "Nemo" cause we were sure that one guy was from "P. Sherman 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney"...

We loved the "Dueling Piano" bar.. we thought we were sneaky with our song requests and laughed when they actually could lay down "Rump Shaka" with piano's...the adventures of the Vegas night-life, left us giggling so much that we both woke up soar from laughing in the morning. The wonderful shows we saw, the delicious food we shared and the awesome conversations we had with each other..the way you were so pleased and touched with your birthday blog surprise was what I so wanted you to feel. You "know" now what we've "known" this whole time ~ the awesome wonderful person you are!!!

I loved your birthday Sweetheart...I loved to see you smile and enjoy our time with each other. I was so lucky to have you all to myself for your birthday. Until next September ~ the wonderful "Birth-month" of Chris.

Dear Gracie...

I couldn't sleep last night. You were on my mind. I wondered things like what did you eat for dinner and did you sing E-I-E-I-O in the tub? Did you remember the pigs this time or just the "moo moo"...

When you come home we are going to color and decorate a card for Daddy's birthday. You can use the "real markers" even.

Only one more sleep and I will see you and hold you so tight and we will play ring around the rosie's until we are dizzy. K?
